Include Fruits and Vegetables
Include a variety of fruits and vegetables in your daily diet. Prefer high fiber food items to keep bowel clean timely. Ayurveda believes that constipation is the root cause for all the diseases to happen so your digestive system should be healthy. Fruits like papaya, banana, mango, pear, apples are good sources to maintain digestive health. Berries, oranges, pineapple, avocados, are great antioxidant which help to flush out toxins and improve body’s defense mechanism. Vegetables like spinach, cauliflower, carrots, radish, and all kind of gourds are best to improve digestion and liver’s functions. Include them in your diet for better metabolism and boost even immune system. Breakfast with healthy fruits provides good energy throughout the day and help you keep going. Whenever you feel hungry, try some seasonal fruits rather than munching chips or some junk foods. Healthy diet is must to keep various diseases at way.
Prefer Wholegrain Cereals, Beans and Lentils
Try to include wholegrain cereals, which are packed with good amount of fibre and carbohydrates. Along, they are good source of antioxidants which help to keep body toxins free. Do Not Forget Nuts and Seeds
Nuts and seeds are another most important sources of essential nutrients needed for healthy body. Almonds, walnuts, ground nuts, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds are just amazing with their medicinal properties. Seeds are wonderful source of protein and essential unsaturated fatty acids that are needed for health. Same way nuts are also one among the richest source of protein, fat and carbohydrate which contain healthy minerals like potassium, sodium and calcium which are basic need for normal human growth. Almonds, walnuts etc. are very much essential for prevention of cardiovascular and nervous diseases. They even enhance the immune system to provide strong stamina.
Reduce Salt and Sugar Intake
Though salt and sugar are needed for body’s growth but excess of both is bad for health. An excess of salt intake leads to accumulation of water content in body which in turn cause burden on kidneys and heart. Kidneys are excretory organs of body which help to remove impurities and kidney problems could be fatal so better limit it. Same way, sugar is also bad for health and it could be the cause of some metabolic disorders such as diabetes and alzheimer’s disease. Excessive sugar intake is another leading cause for overweight. Overweight is itself linked with many serious heath problems like high blood pressure, high blood sugar and other many. If possible, prefer brown sugar than white whenever needed. Avoid all packed, junk foods with extra use of candies, chocolates and sweets.
Drink Ample of Water
Well, water is the foremost thing needed for healthy body functions. You all must be aware of health benefits of enough water intake. This is very much important to remove waste products out from the body. Water keeps body hydrated and helps to improve both digestive and excretory system. Make a habit of drinking 1-2 glasses of lukewarm water every morning, empty stomach. This activate the internal organs and able them with normal functions. Lemon water, every morning also aids in health which has its own amazing health benefits. This improves blood circulation and checks blood pressure too. Have 8 to 10 glasses per day to stay active and healthy.
