Take Bath Daily
Bathing is very important for psoriasis patients. It helps to remove scales and clear the impurities. Avoid very hot water or very cold water. It should be lukewarm and soothing to body. Avoid using very strong or harsh soaps instead use mild or herbal soaps for better results. You can use some herbal bath oil, Epsom salt or Dead Sea salts to water as well. Put 1 cup of Epsom salt i.e., magnesium sulpahte in a tub of lukewarm water and soak affected area of skin. This helps to get rid of itching and dryness efficiently.
Have Some Sunlight
Expose yourself to sunlight, it should be controlled enough so that skin does not get hurt. Sunlight exposure helps to improve lesions. Morning time is best advised when it’s not so strong otherwise intense sun light may further aggravate the skin health. You can apply some sunscreen lotion to your affected area with SPF at least 30. Use it 3 to 4 times if you are out for a long time or going for swimming or sweating more.
Keep Your Skin Moist
It is highly recommended to patients with psoriasis to keep their affected parts always moist as dryness causes more irritation and scaling. You can consult your doctor for some good products for the same. Herbal products are good choice to opt as they are natural and free from chemicals and other side effects. If skin is very much dried, prefer oils instead of lotions. Coconut, olive and almond oil are best as they have more staying power than creams or lotions. Apply it several times as required. Avoid Trigger Factors
Try to find out trigger factors like some eating stuffs and avoid them completely. Also take care of your skin from some infections or injuries which again can worsen the condition. Balanced Diet

Turmeric
