The Ayurvedic mocktails help in replenishing the nutrients that the body loses during the day and nourishes with antioxidants. 5 Ayurvedic Mocktails are:

  1. Melon Melon: Melon Melon mocktail is prepared using watermelon and musk melon.
    • Watermelon is a natural source of most powerful antioxidants as it is a good source of Vitamins A and C and rich in electrolytes such as sodium and potassium which are lost during perspiration. 
    • On the other hand, musk melon has a significant amount of dietary fibre which is quite helpful in constipation.
    • How to make,
      • Ingredients:
        • Watermelon – 200 gm
        • Musk melon – 150 gm
        • Rose syrup – 1 tsp.
      • Method: Chop watermelon and musk melon and blend them in a juicer. Now add rose syrup. Stir well. Garnish it with a piece of watermelon. Melon mocktail is ready to serve. 
  2.  Cool Magic: Cool magic mocktail is prepared by green grapes and pears.
    • Pears help in regulating bowel movement and prevents allergies and other skin ailments.
    • Green grapes reduce hypertension and a good source of antioxidants.
    • Cool magic mocktail helps in reducing issues such as headaches, acidity, heat waves etc.
    • How to make,
      • Ingredients:
        • Pear – 1
        • Green grapes – around 10-15
        • Mint leaves – 2-3
        • Peppermint syrup – 2 tsp.
      • Method: Extract fresh juice from the pear and green grapes. Now add 2 tablespoons of peppermint syrup. Add chopped mint leaves and pear. Shake well and serve.
  3. Banana Thandai: This mocktail is prepared using banana. Bananas are rich in potassium and iron which help in boosting hemoglobin and good for nerve health as well. 
    • It is cooling in nature and acts as an energy booster. 
      • How to make,
        • Ingredients:
          • Banana – 1
          • Milk – 200 ml
          • Cashewnuts – 10 gm
          • Thandai Syrup – 2 tsp.
        • Method: Blend banana and milk in a mixer and 2 tsp thandai syrup. Shake well and add cashewnuts.
  4. Cooler: Cooler mocktail is prepared using white pumpkin and beetroot.  As the name suggests, it is coolant in nature and gives relief in scorching heat. 
    • White pumpkin being alkaline in nature helps in balancing Pitta dosha and provides relief in acidity.
    • Beetroot is high in iron content therefore useful in increasing haemoglobin level.
    • How to Make,
      • Ingredients:
        • White Pumpkin – 1 kg
        • Carrot – 50 gm
        • Beetroot – 50 gm
        • Khus Syrup – 1 tbsp.
        • Rose Syrup – 1 tbsp.
      • Method: Chop white pumpkin and beetroot into cubes. Blend them in a juicer. Now strain the juice and stir khus and rose syrups into it. Garnish it with rose petals.
  5. Appetiser: Appetiser mocktail is prepared with sweet lime, amla and mint leaves. This cooling mocktail is good for digestion and loaded with Vitamin C. Therefore, this combination is helpful in increasing immunity as well. 
    • How to Make:
      • Ingredients:
        • Sweet Lime – 4
        • Amla – 1
        • Mint leaves – 4-5
        • Ginger Syrup – 1 tsp.
      • Method: Blend sweet lime in a juicer. Make a semi-solid paste of amla, chopped mint leaves and add sweet lime juice to it. Now add ginger syrup. Shake all the ingredients and serve.
